Spain is an EXTREMELY strong team, they would at the very least be a playoff team in the NBA.

players who play 100 game seasons etc or who have really busy off seasons etc usually get breaks from the cup, not that they aren't invited. same thing happened with miamis big three in 2010. whole thing is they are trying to create an Olympic type culture with this tourney.
