You already know I am probably higher than anyone but you/Bucks fans about the Bucks

Their the only threat I see in the East.

Get Embiid out of my face lmfao.

Dame-Giannis PnR should be absolutely unstoppable. AD and LeBron should be the only ones to even rival it.

I'm just not sure they did enough for that offense to carry their defense. Splash mountain being a year older doesn't help either, though he does seem to be on the same diet as Horford.

Celtics - Bucks again hopefully this year

yea I really hope we get to see a similar playoff gauntlet to the year when the Raptors won, all the stars healthy and going at each other (at least that's how the Eastern conference panned out)

I think everyone always wants it to play out like that.

No better feeling than winning while beating the best.

But to be disrespected as much as the Celtics have been because of things they simply do not control has been just so fucking epic.

Not like injuries to Kemba, Hayward(rofl) and Rob hasn't set the Celtics back years....

Happens to every team.

Boston Celtics 2024 were the first team in NBA history to win because of injuries.....just silly

coming off a title is always harder than the 1st one. teams in the East will make moves to specifically try to counter the Celtics, much like the Timberwolves did to counter the Nuggets

that and everyone is going to circle Boston on their calendars to go all out while looking past other teams

if they go back to back it will be a huge accomplishment in the parity era while also not really having a true MVP level player

Maybe not in the NBA though. I believe it's a league where it becomes easier for a star to win once he realizes he can do it.

It's not like this was the Jay bros first run....They've been knocking on the door since year 1...but teams like OKC and Minnesota have 1/2 good seasons and people are crowning them. It's quite sad how much people just want new.

Outside of 2 massive gags against the Heat, the Jay Bros have lost to Lebron, Lebron, Giannis, The Nets Trio and Stephon Curry. I am VERY ok with that

This Celtics run wasn't completed because of injuries. They just finally reached a level of maturity where they could finish what they started in 2017.

Feel free to go back 30-35 years and LMK who was winning before 26. Your list will probably be Giannis at 26 and Duncan if you don't care for Robinson.

Celtics won like everyone else. Pretty simple.

to be fair the TWolves made roster moves to specifically counter Denver, the West is locked into a sort of rock paper scissors scenario with how the best teams have constructed themselves

The wolves had the pieces already the year prior they were just without Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid due to injury.

That combined with Edwards taking another step to the next level is all they needed to shit on Denver.

yet none of the superstars who've won recently went back-to-back, except for Curry and LeBron (not the most recent titles, but ones further back)

the only team that went b2b in the past decade was Curry/Durant.... and that's two superstars in their prime on the same team. I don't think we can put the Jays on that level

Celtics won by default. Everyone (except Celtics fans) knows this by now. They didn't even play a top 10 team to get to the Finals, and the mediocre teams they did play were missing their top players.

Let's move on to next season.
