Boy does this one take me back:

I respect the Spurs a lot for having such huge success in a small market and doing so with players they found in the draft but I hate them so much lol.

I understand the hate, I feel the same way about the Yankees, but I'm happy I've gotten to see one of my teams win 5 titles in my lifetime. It's crazy.

Best one of all was that game 7 versus the Celtics, oh my God was that sweet.

Also, how does it feel to know the Spurs will never win a title with their core? The best they'll do is dominate like they did last year just to keep coming up short. I wonder if the Spurs management has more legacy players coming in the draft.

They need Mike D'Antoni and Steve Nash to both return from injury. Even D'Antoni hasn't been cleared by doctors to coach yet with his recent knee surgery.

They may not win another NBA title in the Tim Duncan era but it wouldn't shock me if they take the Western Conference this year. It's going to be difficult to knock off the Miami Heat in a 7-game series. I think the Spurs and Grizzlies will have the best chance out of the West. Maybe the Lakers if they ever get it together and maybe the Thunder if they start to gel as a team and Kevin Martin isn't a cancer in the locker room. And maybe the Clippers if they ever expand their offense past alley oop dunks and get past the Chris Paul becoming a free agent distractions.
