This Heat vs Sixers series with just Harden is pathetic. I read something the other day that Harden is willing to restructure his deal & resign for less after this. Thats the biggest take mid series from this.. No fucking shit huh James? LOL Who the fuck paying you 47 Million.

Yeh, i saw that too.

The Philadelphia 76ers were reportedly of the mind that All-Star guard James Harden would possibly be willing to take less than a max contract extension when they acquired him from the Brooklyn Nets in February.

Sam Amick recently said the following regarding Harden's contract situation on The Athletic NBA Show (h/t RealGM.com): "When the Sixers got him, their intel was that he would potentially be willing to take less. And obviously, you know, nobody knows him better than [Sixers president of basketball operations] Daryl [Morey]."

Harden can become a free agent at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season if he declines his $47.4 million player option for 2022-23. He would then be eligible to sign up to a five-year, $270 million contract with Philly.

Over the cap regardless of whether he gets paid or not.

And regarding Tobias lol....Tell us you haven't watched the games without telling us you haven't watched the games. He has been very good in the playoffs, playing the best basketball of his 76ers career and it's not even close. His defense has been very good as well, better than ever before. Tobias has been the least of our worries, in fact he's one of the few that has consistently shown up and played well.

This team goes as far as MVP Embiid goes. Take the best player off any team and they'll be nowhere near as good, but especially the Sixers because Embiid can just straight up carry a franchise unlike anyone else. Especially on a team like this with no depth.

Tell me your 0-2 in the semis without telling me your 0-2.

So over the cap regardless. So Harden is willing to take less money so a billionaire doesnt have to pay taxes? Horrible look for the players. The players association will hate that. To be fair though his market value isnt max money anyways.

Tobiass playing the best he has as a 48er means nothing because he's been terrible his entire tenure
Hes putting up empty stats in a meaningless season (for you)

What happened to their depth? I swear you were ranting and raving about some Curry fella all season long.

Yeah, you're yet again further proving you don't watch games outside of the Warriors lol.

Because if you did you'd realize how good Tobias has been for the last 1.5 months. Defensively in the playoffs we're seeing him play at a level never seen before, and offensively he's giving 20/8 on 54/41/86 splits. While we've had a lot to complain about with him in the past, he has turned into quite a valuable piece. He's averaging 24 PPG on 57% FG in this series against Miami.

Knock Harden, and knock the supporting cast, basically everyone except for Maxey and Tobias have been a disappointment to some excent. Those two have been great though. Then there's the trash play from Danny Green and Georges Nniang and any backup center Doc throws out there rofl. The bench is useless, meanwhile Miami is bringing absolute burners like Herro and Oladipo off their bench.

Without Embiid, on the road, against the #1 seed. Any expectations went out the window when he got injured.

I said we would lose those games, let's not act surprised they're down 0-2 on the road without Embiid? Nobody is winning those games without their best player let alone a team that relies on Embiid as much as this one does. If he comes back game 3 they have a good shot to make it a series again.
