that's not the ONLY thing surely, right?

it's an auto-bid for the winner iirc? so you get some random team with a spark of chemistry play out of their minds like every year...

I just mean from my point of view betting, Home-court in college is huge.

So it does make it a little more difficult.

of course we all know it's gambling :) and we all know you're killing it like a boss, vegas watch out B)

i think gangbang was just saying be careful come tourny time, that's all <3

I'm anxious to see how my system works for the tournament when teams get more evenly matched, right now I have been trying to find weakness in the numbers, but when the disparity gets to a minimum, I don't know how effective I will be at picking winners. Good thing I'm way ahead already so I won't go in the hole trying to find out.

I would err on the side of underdog +spreads. I think your system will be absolutely fine, maybe even better because homecourt isn't an advantage like Profar said. Your current system doesn't consider home court right? Your system might just be tailored for tournament play

I would just say expect some favorites to not cover the spread. Of course vegas will know this tho, I have shitty lucky betting don't listen to me :( but I do know basketball and usually conference tournaments have a ton of close games, surprise upsets, and Cinderella stories.

Turned 100$ into 1500$ in 2 days playing TEASERS in the NCAA tourney few years back.
Then lost it all on like 2 bets lol (Im a go for it all or bust kinda guy)

Every game is so close, you tease the 16 seed against the 1 at like +24 and add 10-12 points on a 3-4 team teaser.
The games are usually much slower during march madness so there aren't as many blowouts.

I give 1-3 points on my 10 point scale for home court depending on the venue, some home court advantages aren't as big as others , but I really don't give it more than a few % at best.

I took a look at that Eastern michigan game, It looks like the spread should be much higher but I saw EMU lost @ home to Ball state earlier in the year.

Wondering if the fact they lost the 1st meeting makes the spread so small.

What is your % on that one?

deceivingly high. They should rape by the numbers, close to 70%, but my high % seems to lose more than the mid 50's

Ill ride with it, Ball state has lost 14 straight game and EMU shot 28% the last meeting and only lost by 1 in OT.

I think im gonna do mostly live betting tonight, only feel good about maybe 2 games.
