I will say this....the media is doing everything they can to turn every little detail into this "zomg Ben Simmons did this or did that" type of story. They know it gets views so they're trying to push that narrative 100%.

Just another promising prospect with hall of fame ceiling whomst had his career derailed by being drafted to Philly. Many such cases. Turner, MCW, Noel, Okafor, Covington, Fultz, Shamet, and now Simmons.

The city has definitely ruined some careers , but a guy like Ben Simmons who has failed to improve his game by not doing the most simple (clearly not for him) fundamental of basketball...I mean he brought this upon himself.

How has he failed to improve his jump shot even slightly since entering the league. He is legit the same player in 2021 as he was in 2016, and that's all effort. He does so many things at a high level but time and time again has been exposed in the post season while showing no signs of improvment

He also really, really, cares about what people think about him. He's so afraid of being embarrased. And that generally doesn't end well for Philadelphia athletes, when you don't perform of course.

Ben Simmons has been suspended for one game due to conduct detrimental to the team. As a result, Simmons will miss the 76ers’ season opener at New Orleans tomorrow night.
