conference tournaments are crazy as i'm sure you know. There's always some Cinderella teams that surprise like crazy. I think that's all he meant.

The only thing about conference tournaments is there is no home-court advantage.
That's huge for me when im betting college, (Iowa state last night - Hilton magic baby).

It happens every year. But this time of year is challenging too with teams trying to get into the tourney with not much time left. There is a reason its called gambling and not a guarantee.

it was until last year i think, if you go back though it's baaaaaaaaad seeing us on the road in conference

this year - 1 win @ miami
last year - 3 wins - @syracuse, @BC, @Wake
2012-2013 - 2 wins - @wake, @Miami
2011-2012 - 1 win @ NC St
2010-2011 - 1 win @ wake
2009-2010 - 1 win @ UNC (they were number 12 and we beat #5 duke at home, but still only managed 1 ACC road win all year lol)
2008-2009 - 0 ACC road wins...
2007-2008 - 4 wins (not too bad)
2006-2007 - 1 win @ FSU (beat #4 UNC at home and #11 Duke at home, couldn't do shit on the road)
2005-2006 - 0 ACC road wins...

so in 10 years we have what, 14 ACC road wins?

you play what, like 18 conference games a year? so 9 home games a year? so we are what, about 14-76 in that span on the road? rofl
