Just watched the 2nd half....sorry for the rant but...needed after blowing back to back 20 point leads LMAO
3rd quarter offense only scored 12 points, but there was plenty of ball movement outside of Smart/Morris. Defense was fine(3rd only)
4th quarter collapse
Smart and Morris NEED to chill the fuck out with their shot selection. It's really frustrating at this point.
Daniel Theis/on-ball defender getting lost way too much on when to switch. This one I'm not too concerned about because he doesn't get consistent minutes, so I expect some breakdowns. He's usually on the bench when Baynes is in.
Jayson Tatums "defense" chasing shooters around screens was so pathetic. Lazy, effortless. Just sickening...don't care how he shot, he wasn't forcing anything and got hacked all night.
Jaylen Browns shot selection is officially worse than Morris and Smart. This guy is the definition of a black hole. Their isn't a contested shot he won't take the moment he touches that ball.
Al Horford was a no show, but that had a lot to do with how we played in the 2nd half. Stevens pulled Harrell and Zubac away from the point. So many times we had great size advantage in the post....and the players did nothing with it. Amazing defense by Pav Beverley.
Giving up back to back 3s late on the
same play....same shooter....wide open is unacceptable.
Don't think I've seen as many offensive fouls as I did on the Celtics last night rofl...
Stevens is also to blame here. The offense was way too predictable. He tried running James Harden offense the entire 2nd half.....without Kyrie LOL
Without Kyrie, our players have no chance of consistently getting into the paint through pick and roll for kick out 3s to cones. So, the second option was to post up whoever had Lou/Beverley on them after Harrell/Zubac were pulled away from the paint. It failed, but Stevens insisted on staying with it.
When both failed, it resulted in offensive fouls and 3 or 4 double clutch jumpers....absolutely pathetic.
Only positive? Gordon Hayward looking better and better

so hyped about this

Kyrie abandoning ship ?
Little overreaction here, but if he is out for the rest of the year, he can go ahead and jump ship.
Only being ruled a "sprain", but you never know with Kyrie. Barely any contact on the play.
