MVP betting odds are based on betting volume. The Celtics have a huge fan base and get a ton of action, and the media and NBA loves them.

Celtics homers load up on Tatum MVP bets and the books cut the odds. After all, their goal is to make money which is not necessarily the same thing as giving accurate odds.

Either way, the best player on the team with the best record will always be in the MVP convo early in the season naturally.
