saying you'd do the bet and explicitly typing "cd" after the original bet has changed are two vastly different things.

When you change a spread or ask for a different spread/odds, the bet needs to be confirmed or reconfirmed by both parties.

Every once in awhile we do get a gray area bet in this sub. That is NOT the case here. This was very clearly NOT a bet. I don't care if both users meant it to be a bet or not.

It wasn't a bet.

Just my input as I read legal documentations quite frequently…
We always have buyers / sellers interested in deals. Typically each side would state their needs verbally and then in writing. In literally all deals, there’s a conversation stating by each party: #1) I’ll do this if you want to buy/sell this” party #2: “sure thing!” And then the paper work gets drafted up and both parties need to confirm via signature. Sometimes one party will sign and the other party may have backed out. So until both parties confirm, the deal is null and void.

just sharing my thoughts and opinion. Just wanting to hear back from you via pm/post. Ty!

I think you’re confused with drafting a deal vs confirming a deal. Here are my thoughts above. I’m sure a lawyer who reviews legal documentation all day would tend to lean towards that the bet that was “offered” was null and void because both parties did not actually confirm the bet that was offered.

doesn't understand logic fam. He's abusing his power bc he's a dweeb. Clear as day this was not a bet. I"ve seen similar s/a claims and no mod has been retarded enough to lock an innocent user till this dipshit gets some authority
