You didn't but said "all sorts"

You also said Harden doesn't use p&r or throw lobs when in fact he's one of the best in the business at doing just that...

Ya I'm partially wrong there. Watching him play in Houston with a 6'6" guy playing center didn't allow him to throw lobs. There were basically all pick and pop since Clint left. It was a philosophy and personal thing. I'd agree he's one of the best lob passers but hasn't had someone to throw them too.

Fair enough

If Blake can't catch a few lobs on this team with this kind of spacing then he's officially done lol

That doesn't mean he is done though. That part of his game is greatly dimished but he can still provide a team will a small ball Center who can pick and pop. He's not the greatest shooter but when playing the 5 right now in the NBA that provides solid value.

I'm not sure he can defend for shit either

But maybe the Nets get more out of him than we expect

No he can't defend much or provide rim protection but provides a decent size body and an OK rebounder so they don't get pounded on the boards playing small like Houston did with Tucker playing the 5.

They don't really need a ton from him though, they have 3 guys to carry the offense (when/if healthy), he just has to be a roll player who knocks down open jumpshots and rebounds, he doesn't have to provide any playmaking. He's a steal for the buyout market that Brooklyn gets for a minimum salary. I think he's still a solid player, he's just lost a lot of his explosiveness that made him so entertaining. He's become much more skilled than just a dunker and hyper athlete. Brooklyn definitely is a better team with him eating up minutes from Claxton, Green, Perry.
