Not an accomplishment at all, but better than anything Denver has done. When Denver plays the eventual champs they got smoked with a gentlemen sweep lol.

Sixers were as good as any team in the playoffs that year in 2018-2019. With Embiid, Simmons, Butler, Tobias, JJ, etc. Its unfortunate Kawhi killed em with that buzzer beater in game 7, but that was still one hell of a run.

Embiid looks so much better this year than that season though. And that's saying a lot considering Embiid averaged 28/14 that season.

last year was an outlier so it's hard to take the bubble too seriously as a predictor for this season. The 76ers couldn't take a game off the Celtics, I'm sure you'd eagerly be willing to admit that things are different in that context.

I mean the Heat went to the Finals and now they're 13th in the East, in a conference that's losing like 60% of head to heads

Bubble was definitely much different

And yeah, last year under BB with a horribly constructed roster the Sixers were bad. They got swept by the the Celtics but then again their All-NBA player was missing (would have still prob lost just not by sweep).

Heat were a fluke, we can see their real colors now. They overachieved in the bubble.

He doesn't change the game like Embiid does.

We all know Embiid plays and the Sixers can beat anyone. When he sits, well the Sixers look like a lottery team. Although that Pacers comeback the other night was a good start to prove they're half decent without Embiid.

He just makes them so elite defensively and completely changes their offensive output.

So Sixers are gods when Embiid plays but also they are half decent when he doesn’t play?

Whatever fits your narrative I guess. All I know is, Jokic shits on him.

First off, the people who vote for MVP care about defense and they weigh how good your team was in the regular season even more. Jokic so far has no chance when compared to Embiid when you factor all of the voter's most important criteria. His team needs to play a lot better for him to win MVP.

Talking about which teams' playoff run was more impressive is a moot point in the current conversation.

They factor in defense? Hasn’t harden won one recently? Steph won a couple as well back to back as did Steve Nash. Even Sixers own Iverson wasn’t the greatest defender in the world.

Just stop trying to talk about stuff you don’t know

76ers 14-2 with Embiid

1-4 without him

Thats all I have to say.

I would take Embiid over Jokic 9 days of the week and the 10th day It would only be because of racism.

That's not the same thing as winning MVP
