Sixers were as good as any team in the playoffs that year in 2018-2019. With Embiid, Simmons, Butler, Tobias, JJ, etc. Its unfortunate Kawhi killed em with that buzzer beater in game 7, but that was still one hell of a run.
Embiid looks so much better this year than that season though. And that's saying a lot considering Embiid averaged 28/14 that season.
last year was an outlier so it's hard to take the bubble too seriously as a predictor for this season. The 76ers couldn't take a game off the Celtics, I'm sure you'd eagerly be willing to admit that things are different in that context.
I mean the Heat went to the Finals and now they're 13th in the East, in a conference that's losing like 60% of head to heads
