Deni will be a stud, he just led his team to the Israeli regional championship and looks poised/focused on the court. Gonna be a really successful star/elite role player.

Which is why i hope he some how makes it to 7th lmao. Pistons had a real shot if we couldve stayed at 5, but its looking bleak now that we dropped to 7 lmao.

Who do y'all see drafting tho? I think focus wise, you guys need a PG and a wing.

Deni would be nice, but I think he's better suited on a team where there's a clear defined go to scorer to help elevate his and theirs game.

Blake is still nice, but is he the go to guy or Christian Wood going forward?

I like Avdija, and of course Okongwu would be a solid replacement for drummond, despite being a bit smaller. But it doesnt seem like either of those guys will be on the board at 7. Detroit just cant win lotteries lmao.

some of the mocks i've seen have us grabbing wiseman if he drops.

i just feel like drafting a classic style center who can't stretch the floor in 2020 es no bueno.

doubt toppin, okongwu or deni will drop to us at 7. really tough spot to be in in a shallow draft, if we could move up to 5 i feel like we could really grab a solid prospect, but we don't really have the chips to make it happen.

if anything we'll have to trade back to offload griffin's contract, which still might not be such a bad idea if we could maybe snag anthony at 11 or 12.

i could see the suns making that deal especially if they feel booker will want out this offseason.

See, the thing is Wiseman isn't like your typical old school center.

I've watched him in high school/college.

He isn't like a lumbering big. He's actually very fast, can handle, and has shown signs that he can shoot. It's about mastering the mechanics ingame for him.

He's an athletic freak of nature. The funny thing is some critics get upset at Wiseman, because he tries to play like a wing/ball handler.

It's not uncommon to see him grab a defensive rebound and lead the fast break using a rather smooth looking handle and in the half-court, he'll break down slower defenders with crossovers and in and out dribbles.

Problem is his ability to play make when double teamed, but I suspect he'll do better in that department as time passes by.

I think Wood should be the guy going forward and i hope we keep him but i feel like one of the big teams are gonna offer more than we would and he's gonna leave. Hope im wrong.
Griffin can go. I like him, but his contract is seriously holding us back, especially when hes not playing obviously.
As far as who we'll draft, i wouldnt mind seeing like cole anthony spend a season playing with and learning from D rose, but like Dis said i think we'd want to trade back rather than draft him at 7th.

I’m tired of complete busts

Is it a bad time to remind you that the Vikes drafted a WR in the first again?
