Do you play MOBA's? If so, then you understand the concept of having a carry role and a support role. The role of the carry becomes much easier when you have a good support. Doubly so if you have a good lane support AND another lane on your team does well, or maybe even all 3!

As clearly demonstrated in that lovely example, a team is the sum of their parts and will win in accordance to the sum of the opponents parts. The East is demonstrably weaker this year than last year, the 76ers are much worse. The Raptors are basically the same team but minus Kawhi, obviously they're worse.

The Heat have gotten much better this year however. Celtics are better off with Kemba over Kyrie. Pacers get to add Oladipo and picked up Brogdon

It was a four horse race for the Finals last year. This year its a one horse race with 5 teams battling for second.

You had the same energy last year, with the best record in the league, and look what happened.

I would think you would learn your lesson by now. The #1 record in the regular seasons fails to even make the Finals quite a bit. Regular season record goes bye bye once that postseason clock starts.

Same "energy"? I never said the Bucks were a lock to win the East last year, I recognized that it was a very talented group(Bucks, 76ers, Raptors, and Celtics). This year the Bucks are the clear favorites, you're a homer to believe otherwise.
