Hinkie said it best, so let's just refer to his resignation letter once he was foolishly forced out by Sixers ownership:

Delusions of grandeur is a terrible thing to have to suffer through.

The sixers with their current core wont amount to shit. Embiid is always going to be injuried because he is the living and breathing embodiment of glass. Simmons already has demonstrated his inability to keep his bones non brittle. Dario will never be an all star.

I appreciate your homerism towards your team, i get it, but literally no one here cares what nonsense you spew about your basement dwelling team. The process really has panned out so far, super bright future. Only 4 more years of rebuilding to go!

Talk about potential all you want, because after all, it's just potential. It most likely will never become actuality.
