Also, Sheriff was around when the 76ers last won. Thank you very much.

The Philadelphia 76ers swept the Lakers in the 1983 NBA Finals. Moses Malone was the MVP. I was wearing diapers.
I was in junior high when the Houston Rockets won back-to-back NBA Titles in 1994 and 1995. I do miss those days!

The Philadelphia 76ers have not won a championship in any of our lifetimes

At the risk of looking like an idiot, it would be best to keep that in mind before hitting Post Reply button

Thanks for your time

That's how I got the nickname Rhino. From former NBA all-star Rashard Lewis. I was a freshman at Elsik High School in Alief, Texas when he was a senior. At 6:15 a.m. every morning he'd already be inside the school's basketball gym playing before first period started. He told me he didn't have a first period his senior year so he had all morning to play. The coach gave him a key to the gym so he could play at all hours.

I'd get there early myself because I walked to school. I lived at the nearby apartment complex. We'd play a 3-on-3 and sometimes 4-on-4 pickup game every morning (depends how many guys were there) and he'd always pick me on his team because I was big and wide my freshman year (6'3 and 240) and I could set a good hard screen for him. He'd make every shot. I'd create a lot of space for him. He was taller than everybody else. He was nearly 7 foot and very skinny back then.

I didn't even play on the basketball team but Rashard Lewis said I set better screens than some of his teammates. That's all I was good at. I couldn't dribble or shoot.

That's nice and all, but they won by default. Healthiest team in the league. Didn't even play a top 10 team to get to the finals either rofl.

It’s crazy what happens when you draft and recruit players with health in mind. 76ers knew what they were getting when they drafted Embiid, just like Knicks did when they traded for Anunoby. Don’t blame the Celtics for your poor decisions.

Although I do completely 100% agree with you, like in every single way

Porzingis and Boston were lucky they got that mileage from Porky... I am not even saying that Boston would have lost without him. As you say they likely expected Porzingis injuries to happen..

Lets just pray Tatum doesnt get blood clots

Tatum could have been out and they'd still have won. Dude was a role player, that's kinda obvious at this point.

That's how easy the road was. They legit played nothing but lottery teams in the eastern conference with the injuries out there.

I disagree thats like saying Spurs would have won without Ginobli or Parker.

They don't

its a system, Tatum is the most important piece of that puzzle no matter how you spin it. You have to recognize this

Every team the Celtics played on the road to the Finals were missing their top 1-2 players for part or all of the series.

It was without question the easiest free ride ever. A bye to the finals as they call it.

Cool, and we were still the best team in the league hands down. One of the greatest individual seasons of all time. No one was close to us. The gap between us and the 76ers was astronomical

The best offensive team of all time. Cry more about injury excuses
