I'm so confused now. Watching the Astros game and I didn't see all of the details...

Per WoJ - Another massive deal: Brooklyn has a deal with Houston to return the Nets’ 2026 first-round pick for a 2027 Phoenix Suns first-round pick, sources tell ESPN. Rockets also acquire 2025 right to swap Houston/OKC first for 2025 Suns first-round pick.

So we need the Suns to be bad now? Jeez. This is why the Kevin Durant to Rockets rumors are circulating. Suns want their picks back for an aging KD. No thanks. Somebody explain to me what the Houston Rockets are doing? Why give up a 2025 swap with the Nets, and their unprotected 2026 first-round pick? What are we getting back? A 2027 Suns first-round pick and a 2025 first-round swap with the Suns is supposed to be better?

I'm hearing that the Rockets believe they are in a prime position to acquire both Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. What a joke! LOL. That's the dumbest thing I've heard in all my years watching the NBA. Sure, we may get an aging washed up KD. Kevin Durant ain't much these days. Lost a step. He's still good I guess. Why would Suns trade a young superstar in Devin Booker? Like why? The Rockets may end up with the Suns' 2029 first-round pick as well. So the Suns' 2027 first, 2029 first and ability to swap 2025 picks. I don't know if that's better than the ability to swap with the Nets in 2025 (may be top 3 pick) and 2026 Nets pick (may be top 3 pick again).
