What mediocre offenses? He has gone 12 innings in 2 starts against that loaded Braves offense the last two postseasons and given up a total of 2 ER's. Zero HR's allowed. 2-0 in those two starts too.

In 9 career postseason starts he has been good in 5 of them. This past postseason he was 3-1 with a 2.35 ERA and was good in 3 of the 4 starts.... the only game he got blown up was the second start vs Arizona.

Can he be inconsistent? Yes. But you're underrating him at this point lol

2023 playoffs
Miami - one of the worst offenses in the league
Atlanta - top offense. Couldn't get out of the 6th
Arizona - below league average. Pitched twice against them for only 10 innings

2022 playoffs
St Louis - good offense pitched well in the game
Atlanta - good offense pitched well but against couldn't get past 6
Padres - league average offense. Got murdered
Astros - good offense. Pitched 8 innings in 2 starts. Got murdered

Inconsistent is an understatement. Yes I know bullpen is utilized more in playoffs, but SP aren't usually yanked if they are dominant.
