....i can't tell if you're being serious or not lol

Not a single 76ers fan out there would ever suggest that Maxey was the 4th option lmao. The 4th option was clear cut Tobias and that's not even a debate

Maxey was the #2/#3. Harden and Maxey were the 2A and 2B options really in terms of scoring. Harden averaged 21.0 PPG on 44/39/87 with a 25.0% USG rate and Maxey averaged 20.3 PPG on 48/43/85 with a 24.1% USG rate.

In 13 games without Harden, Maxey averaged 25/6/4 on the same great efficiency (47% FG, 43.3% 3PT).

There's a reason the 76ers had absolutely no interest in giving Maxey up for Damian Lillard and made it clear Maxey isn't available for trade. He is special, and he just turned 22 years old last season.

Sure bro Maxey is the #2 option and All-NBA, Nurse is a mastermind. Now lets see the 76ers prove it by advancing past the semis. I doubt it and everyone who is NOT a 76ers fan doubts it too (even some of the 76ers fans on here realize its doubtful too)

I said Maxey has All-NBA in his future, i didn't say he'd get it next year entering the season as a 22 year old. All-Star is within reach for him next season though, especially if Harden ultimately gets traded.

Also...were we not talking about regular season? You were talking about playoffs? You think the fucking CAVS are a powerhouse in the East? THE CAVS?????? The same Cavs who got absolutely molly whopped by the Knicks? I'm confused lol

There's a lot of uncertainty around the 76ers because of Harden, yes. He has made it clear that he isn't holding out and plans to report to training camp though, so he's going to play if he isn't traded. If Harden plays then there's not much reason to believe they won't be just as good as they were last season, or maybe even better since they have a better coach now? I mean considering they went 42-16 over the final 58 games of the regular season, I'd say they'll be pretty darn good barring major injuries.

Playoffs are a different question, but that's where the change to Nick Nurse will come into play the most. Get an actual coach who knows how to make adjustments and isn't notorious for choking up playoff leads.

Bro you cant say the 76ers are leveling up because Maxey will develop and then turn around dismissing the Cavs who have many developing players (Garland, Mitchell, Mobley, and Allen) the 76ers wish they had that kind of talent depth growing together. Cavs just added Strus on top of that who was huge for the Heats run

I think Mobley has MVP type ceiling and he is still very green

When it comes to the 76ers regular season you should go back and read what I actually said. I said the top 3 contenders would be Cavs Heat (assuming they get Lillard) and Bucks. Not necessarily that they would finish top 3 seeds

I think the 76ers could definitely finish top 4 in the regular season and then ultimately get bounced in the 2nd rd again

Aren't you the one that hyped the Cavs last season as well? 🤣

They have the most unbalanced offense of any "contender" they have two bigs who can't space the floor for shit and neither are scorers. Mobley has "potential" but he's still a scrawny who gets bullied and looks scared in the playoffs. Their entire offense revolves around their two guards and no spacing elsewhere. I called it before the Knicks playoff series that they'd have trouble against the Knicks and look at what happened. They will be a good team as they were last year, but to call them a powerhouse in the East all of a sudden? Eh....

Claiming the Cavs are going to take some massive step forward after adding Georges Niang and Max Strus is quite the hot take rofl

Quite the hot take to expect the 76ers to suddenly get out of the 2nd rd when they’ve had even better rosters fail

I never said anything about them getting out of the second round though

I'm just saying no damn way the Cavs can be ahead of them at this point based on the addition of Max Strus rofl

Mobley - 22
Garland - 23
Allen - 25
Mitchell - 26

But we are supposed to believe in a declining Harden and Maxey

Heat (with Lillard)
Bucks
Celtics

Galaxy sized power gap

Philly (league will prop up their mvp during regular season)
Knicks
Cavs

Universe sized power gap

Hawks
Bulls
Raptors
Nets

Might make a run for the 10th seed

Magic
Pacers

Why do you exist

Pistons
Hornets
Wizards

Swap Celtics with Cavs

Swap Pacers with Bulls or Raps if either go full blown rebuild
