Three-time All-Star forward Khris Middleton has declined his $40 million player option with the Milwaukee Bucks to become a free agent, his agents Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz of
@excelbasketball tell ESPN.

A return to the Bucks on a new deal remains a possibility for Middleton.

this is probably just standard opt out and re-sign for more term resulting in more financial stability
maybe less per year on average but less risky as well

I would agree, think he ends up staying with Bucks

The Grizzlies are sending 2023 and 2024 first-round picks to the Celtics, sources tell ESPN. Grizzlies are sending No. 25 on Thursday night and 2024 pick via Golden State for Smart.

Why would I back pedal? He was incredibly valuable, and he will be great for the Pelicans too. And I wish him the best… but if I’m getting Porzingis, and 2 first round picks for him? Yeah I’ll pack his bags for him. That’s 3x as much as the Wizards got for Beal

Plus we already have a log jam with White and Brogdon as well as Pritchard looking for guard minutes
