As long as they bring Reed back as expected, then we're good. That leaves them set with good depth behind Embiid. Mamba is low risk, high reward and gives them a backup center who can space the floor as well. It'll be Paul Reed's job to lose, but Mamba will get plenty of opportunities with Embiid rest nights.

Sounds like they're waiting to see what offers Reed gets as a RFA. Idc about the FA's we've lost so far, but losing Reed would piss me off lol

Dm told me he was the greatest defender of all time, a perennial DPOY candidate, and a lock for the max contract.

Defensively he is a stud. Offensively you’re basically playing 4 on 5

Every once in a while he won’t brick a 3 but that’s about it

I didn’t hate him but he would see very limited minutes if any at all come playoff time, and they knew they wouldn’t re sign him. With McDaniels walking in FA at least they got some second round picks lol
