Where did you see that?

Unreliable sources obviously 😅, but its the general feeling. I mean he has skill and potential, but got traded from the now champs after an injury, to the celtics, who traded him for scraps to the magic. And now after having a career year with the magic, got waived, what gives? I think hes got future, but might need to go to a team where someone will light a fire up his ass, or he is just damaged goods?

@esidery: "With the Heat needing to find a receptive third team in trade talks, the Nets stand out as an obvious candidate if they’re also able to offload Ben Simmons.

Miami actually has an exact salary match to acquire both Lillard and Simmons in potential multi-team packages:

Lillard + Simmons = $83.5 million

Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, Haywood Highsmith = $83.5 million

Miami will need to get creative to eventually acquire Lillard, but there’s various pathways to make it happen."

Everybody needs to wait just a damn minute for Masai to make his chess move. Magic could be brewing here

The Mavericks are acquiring Celtics restricted free agent Grant Williams on a four-year, $54 million deal via sign-and-trade, per sources. WME Sports’ Bill Duffy and Erik Kabe completed the new contract for Williams.

Sources: The Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics are finalizing a three-team trade:

- Mavs: Grant Williams
- Spurs: Reggie Bullock and an unprotected Dallas pick swap in 2030
- Celtics: Multiple second-round picks

Compensation update: Boston and Dallas will each receive two second-round picks in the deal.

Lol Celtics

As predicted, losing Grant Williams for essentially nothing in return. Losing yet another tough/scrappy player.

Celtics aren't any better, and when they see how soft Porzingis is they're going to be pissed

Have to see any other moves they make but I gotta say I think their team last year was better as well. Defensively for sure

@wojespn: Free agent C Mo Bamba has agreed on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, @PrioritySports’ Mark Bartelstein and agent Greer Love tell ESPN.

“Philadelphia is bringing in Bamba with the intention of keeping restricted free agent Paul Reed, but Bamba gives the Sixers some security behind Joel Embiid if they do lose Reed.”

It's too bad they had to give up Smart instead of Brogdown. If they can manage to turn Brog into anything significant, assuming his injuries prevent him from playing, they'll be better over all.

What are they getting from Brogdon?

Guy is making $23M a year and under contract through the next two seasons and he's damaged goods.

Celtics, heat, and Philly all got worse, bucks stayed the same, and Cavs got better 😎
