When they lock down Collins then red velvet gets hot. It's a difficult team to match up with defensively.


And for some odd reason they get a TON of foul calls

Bud played a drop scheme defense which plays right into Atlanta's strengths, especially with Lopez out there to abuse in the high PnR

stop with the drop defense and less Lopez more Portis

which is the right decision. that's like asking Gobert to come out onto the perimter... it makes no sense except fans think DPOY = guard the best scorer

That was my whole point. In a jump shooting league the DPOY should be the dude who guards the best scorer every single night.

putting Giannis on the perimeter, especially if Lopez is out for Tucker/Portis, is like putting out a red carpet to the rim which is the highest efficiency scoring available in the game

bad bad idea. the Hawks can definitely abuse that type of strategy
