Oh yeah?

Jimmy Butler in one playoff run with the Sixers averaged 19.4 PPG on 45% FG and 26% 3PT. His lack of shooting next to Simmons non-existent shooting made it impossible for Embiid to have space to do anything too. Prime time playoff performer though.

And Maxey, yes, who just recently broke out and had that type of playoff run. Played huge vs the Knicks last time they were in the playoffs but completely disappeared in the elimination game. Same series Embiid averaged 33/13/6 and played elite defense all series btw.

Jimmy ran through the East not once but twice as an underdog. There’s no way you’re going to convince anyone here that Jimmy is not an elite playoff performer

Yet you needed to bring up jokic out of his peak? Let's keep it consistent. Either way, Embiid got daddy sucked by jb and Tatum in his prime

Jokic got Daddy dicked by Gobert and Ant in 2024. In his prime.

Jokic got Daddy dicked by SGA and the Thunder last year. In his prime.

Want to know the common theme? Murray didn't play as well in either of those. More on the level of the type of play Embiid got from his co-stars like every year. And what happened? Jokic didn't advance would ya look at that its almost like you need a guard/wing to play exceptionally well in order to advance....

Well, having a cupcake schedule like he had during their championship run helps too rofl.

19.5 PPG is elite?

That's what the sixers got out of Jimmy in one playoff run with him. With no floor spacing at all.

Averaged about 25 PPG over the course of 3 deep runs as the clear #1 option with the Heat

Eliminated the Bucks and Celtics with a lot of the same core players as their Championship teams

What do those have to do with productivity in Philly?

Jimmy was never a good fit on the Sixers. They were great talent wise, but fit wise it didnt make much sense. You had Embiid, Simmons, Tobias, and Butler. None of them were big time 3pt shooters, only Tobias and he wasn't high volume by any means (maybe 4-5 3PA per game). JJ was the only big time floor spacer. Remember this was before Embiid really refined that elite midrange game into one of the best shooters in the league. He was still dependent on low post scoring, which was not ideal with Simmons and Butler being so reliant on scoring in the paint as well.

With that said, on talent alone they were a few bounces away from being NBA champs. Whoever won that series between them and Toronto was winning it all. What a wild series that was.

Embiid body fell apart. In his prime.

Butler/LeBron proved the east can be won as the only star. Embiid just ran into Tatum and Butler who are the real stars

LeBron is the greatest player of all time. He's obviously the exception.

And Jimmy didn't do it as the only star. Bam Adebayo was literally an All-Star that season and was great in the East playoffs. As was Herro....

Out here acting like Jimmy's 20 PPG carried the Heat by himself.
