On a side note, I have to give the Hawks credit once again. What Nate McMillan has done for that team since he became the interim head coach is nothing short of amazing.

The Hawks were 14-20 at one point this season when they fired Lloyd Pierce, and then made McMillan head coach. Since McMillan took over he went 27-11 to close out the season and here we are a few months later and they're in the ECF's.

A LOSING record at the All-Star break and end up making it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Fucking crazy.

I'd like everybody to take a second and watch the clip of Simmons

If i'm not mistaken I believe that is old though, from a previous season (when the Hawks were hot garbage).

i don't want either of them

u can have ben simmons for free, we don't need the guard version of Tobias Harris who is worse that's gonna cost another 30mil.

I can't handle another 30mil playoff choker.

TBH until this year against Denver CJ always upped his game in the playoffs.
Guy is an extremely smart player who when has had a chance to lock in and study film has always played well.(2021 anomaly)

With a proper coach I think Lillard & Simmons could work.

I also believe completely as do many basketball minds that CJ as the main ball handler. With his own Team. Would be a 25/5 guy on 45+/38+/85+
This has been the consensus opinion about CJ for a long time now. It's shown anytime Lillard is out that CJ can step into a bigger role.
The only problem I see is that a CJ and Curry backcourt is real small. One would need to come off the bench. Curry left portland for a bigger role. CJ states he doesn't want to come off the bench.

Seth Curry had the best Shooting performance (78.8 TS%) EVER by a player with 75+ shot attempts in this series against Atlanta.

Still managed to lose.

just curious, how many of you actually watched the Jazz play this year before the playoffs?

exactly. wondering how Gobert won the dpoy. i thought all rewards are narrative-driven. if nobody watches them, who creates the stories?

I did, pretty dissappointed in Goberts play to say the least & the lack of adjustments when Kawhi went down. Getting picked apart on the perimeter.
