The Atlanta Hawks have gone to the Eastern Conference finals, torn it down, completely rebuilt and gotten back to the Eastern Conference finals all in the span of the 76ers’ “Process” before they have

The Process was a joke and now a complete failure. Be bad and get high draft picks? How genius. What a novel concept. These people acted like it was 7th level physics.

The Hawks were 20-47 last year

if Simmons does stay, I look forward to seeing his summer workout video taking shots he'll never take in a real game

With all due respect, you completely fail to understand "the process" and what that was even about lol.

I cringe when i see people outside of Philly use the term on this team, the same team that has had 4 different GM's since Sam Hinkie's process days. This isn't "THE PROCESS" anymore lol, that mission was accomplished long ago when we got numerous top picks and Hinkie made incredible move after incredible move and completely revamped the outlook of the roster long term. What the GM's and coaches afterwards did with his work is a different story, but that has nothing to do with Hinkie.

Sam Hinkie's "The Process" goal was to get the team actual talent, draft picks, valuable pieces to trade, etc. It's a star driven league, and his goal was to "give them the best chance possible of getting that star player" (his words exactly) which he did. Granted, the league cut his mission short but in his brief time as GM of the Sixers because it was a bad look at the time tanking, but it worked and it worked well which is why the league literally changed the draft rules BECAUSE of the Sixers.

This team has had 4 different GM's since Hinkie was fired by the NBA. Thankfully we now have Hinkie Sr. with Daryl Morey in office now and I have 100% trust in him which is why we can be confident Simmons will be moved.

He's mentally broken, and he's 100% getting traded this off-season. Not a soul in Philly wants him to stay, and even Embiid wants him gone (although he won't come out and say that LOL).

Terrific defensively, but he hit a new low offensively this series and we can't defend it anymore. He had no interest in scoring once again and it's beyond ridiculous at this point.

I mean I get the knock on "The Process" but i don't know how anyone can still call it that when there are so many new GM's running the show? I know Embiid embraced "The Process" nickname which is cool since he pretty much represented what it was when they drafted him #3 overall knowing damn well he wouldn't be able to play for at least a season (i.e. the long term outlook not the short term). That worked out well, especially considering we'd have drafted Wiggins if Embiid never got hurt (dodged a bullet there).

But the front office since then has been a shit show. Who knows where they'd be had the NBA never stepped in and removed Hinkie, but it has been a revolving door since then. Thankfully we have Morey now which is great and he now can get to work in his first full off-season running the team.

I don't think people are still calling it a process, more so just saying they tried 'the process' by being bad for so many years on purpose, only to lose to the Hawks who's star is a 2nd year player.
