Now we are on the harden is still OP its just an injury train

i Like it

Only casuals thought 76ers were getting MVP Harden like he was in Houston. Like it's mind blowing how many people still expected him to be dropping 30 ppg or something.

You expect better than what he has given, but to expect him to be MVP form is such a reach. He doesn't need to be that great, but he certainly needs to be better than he has been.

Then why’s he expect to be paid like an MVP when he’s an out of shape role player

Lol you don't have to have MVP production to warrant a max deal though.

You need to be better than he has been, but doesn't need to be MVP level.

There's a very real possibility and expectation that he'll opt into his remaining final year worth $47M. That would be the best scenario for both sides. It gives the Sixers an opportunity to work with him during the off-season which they haven't done yet, and it allows him the opportunity to prove that it's just his hamstring injury causing these issues.

People need to remember that Harden has been a remarkably durable player throughout his career until this hamstring injury. It's new territory for him and likely has gotten to his head because he doesn't look as confident, and he's not attempting a lot of shots either. He has lacked the explosion he had before that injury, last year in the playoffs he went full blown MVP Harden and then after his injury he completely fell off and could barely move. I don't know exactly what's going on, but one would have to assume he just never rehabbed properly or recovered 100% and a full off-season and one year deal would be beneficial for both sides.

If he's good but not great next year, do you guys still sign him? Like if he plays similar to this season, give or take a lil.

You gave up alot for him, Simmons still had great trade value regardless if he was playing or not at that point. Could have acquired assets and not given up any.

Didn't give a lot up. Gave up a mentally unstable and weak player that doesn't even play.

If Harden plays at this level next season then no, I don't think they even consider the supermax. I think he will be better next year with a full healthy off-season which he didn't get this past year. But who knows, in Morey we trust.

i think he's the only player in the whole nba averaging 20/10

and thats considered wash up

sign him the fuk up.

And the Sixers are too all in at this point to not re-sign him, they'd need to find somebody that's even better than Harden to replace him to pair with Embiid to no waste his prime and there's nobody like that available.

it's a pretty stat stuffed 20/10 though. it's not like he's chris paul out there having 20/10 and winning his team the game every single night
