imo, kobe is better... he'll leave his position to guard the person who is doing well, just like MJ did.. he takes control of the game, is a better leader, higher basketball IQ.

on the other hand, lebron james is just so versatile it's hard to compare the two.

lebron has been an all-star for every year he's been in the nba.. he's been in the league half of the time kobe has. give lebron james 6 more years after kobe retires and we'll see where he's at.


when you can actually say who's better, is when they're both retired, and you compare what they did in their nba career.

If this were in the school yard and I was team captain picking from all the NBA players to be on my team. 1st pick has to be James. James can win 50+ games with average players playing around him. Kobe can only win with 3-5 stars running with him and Phil Jackson calling the shots.
