The Trail Blazers are “not impressed” with the Heat’s trade offer for Damian Lillard, which could lead to a deal elsewhere now, per @wojespn:

- While Damian Lillard prefers Miami, Portland needs “maximum value” in any trade.

- Miami needs at minimum a third team to take on Tyler Herro’s contract. Blazers have no interest in Herro.

- Portland will now take their time to find better offers elsewhere to receive the best package for Lillard.

The Miami Heat wouldn't even include a young Tyler Herro in a James Harden trade back in 2021.
A 23-year-old Herro is still a pretty damn good player. I'm shocked Portland wouldn't want him.
Getting a third team to take on his contract shouldn't be a stumbling block. Should be rather easy?

Daryl Morey is asking for too much in a trade for James Harden.
You have to wonder if he's going to just play for the 76ers now.
Maybe closer to the trade deadline they'll find a much better deal.

I kind of feel bad for James Harden not finding a good fit to potentially end his career.
But at least the Philadelphia fans will appreciate him for one more year. UFA next year.

The Orlando Magic waived Bol Bol, team says.

Bol Bol is available? All 7'2 of him. Still 23 years old... Hmm.

One being paid a decent amount. I do like Bol Bol though.

Yes. He's young and has some good skills at that size. He can move and isn't a total stiff out there. We had 7'4 Boban Marjanović who's 34 and just moves too slow. Didn't really get much playing time outside of garbage time. I think Boban went back to Serbia this off-season. Not even sure. Rockets let him go during last season and then re-signed him some time later. I wouldn't mind bringing in Bol Bol to replace Boban. But unlikely with Alperen Sengun and Jock Landale (big money backup center now). Bol Bol can likely find more minutes on other teams. Even contending teams.
