do you think he should rest at least one game? or just keep going?

i think with 2-0 lead, it's safe to rest him one game for potential conf finals & finals

edit: ah fuck i forgot it's 1-1 nvm. cant rest him

lol yeah it's 1-1 not 2-0. Not time for rest.

Plus, there's plenty of rest between games in this series. There's two days between games 2 and 3, and there's two days between games 3 and 4.

Embiid has to do something completely out of character in order for the Hawks to win by the hair on their chinny chin chin. Fair enough.

Sixers in 6 I guess B)

not sure i'd call being a whiney bitch out of character for him ^_^

give credit where credit is due, sixers played lights out for a half and atlanta showed heart in coming back

Oh i'm not saying Atlanta didn't do their thing, they got the momentum in the second half and rolled with it.

But anyone watching the game could see Embiid was struggling physically, big time. Worst half of basketball we've ever seen out of him, he just wasn't able to do anything or get any lift. He was bricking easy layups, his signature fade away jumper had no lift and everything was short. He was also not explosive defensively, he had no energy. I think his knee was bothering him, but who really knows.

Hawks are a good team, especially at home. People sleep on the fact that they were one of the best teams at home this season under Nate McMillan (i believe they only lost 2 games under him as HC). Last night was a MUST win for Atlanta and they played with the urgency you'd expect in front of their fans.

Sixers should stomp them back in Philly, and then game 6 will be another must win (literally this time) for Atlanta. A game 7 is likely, but hopefully for our sake it doesn't come to that. I was really looking forward to Embiid getting rest between this round and next.

Embiid looked tired last night, specially in the second half.
Also Collins rly brought the hawks back last night, unlike the first 3 games when he was mostly a non factor.

Would lock him up through 31-32 years old.

No brainer move, even with injury risks there's going to be no hesitation.
