Golden State G Klay Thompson will undergo testing within the next few days on a leg injury suffered in a workout in Southern California today, sources tell ESPN. The severity of the injury is unclear. Thompson missed the 2019-2020 season with a torn ACL in his left knee.

ACL is not achilles. ACL = knee. Achilles is the thick tendon right above the heel. Klay had an acl tear. Wilkins had Achilles. Durant had Achilles. Wes M had Achilles.

but lower leg can be anything, from ankle injuries to calf to knee

The Warriors should offer us some future draft picks for Eric Gordon and Trevor Ariza. We'll take Klay's salary even if he's damaged goods. Same goes for John Wall in a swap for Russell Westbrook. Wall may be done but the draft picks still hold some value for a rebuilding team. We still haven't traded Harden though.
