All that hype and build up from Sixers fans. People were posting his location and photos of him at the hotel and driving around Philly. Tickets were anywhere from $200 minimum to $4,000+. Then by the 3rd quarter most fans booed their own team off the floor, and by the beginning minutes of the 4th, had emptied the stadium lmao.
But today they will all tell you it was a meaningless game and no one cared...
Oh yeah for sure, people cared a whole lot about Simmons. Those ticket prices were insane, i thought about buying one but decided against it because it's just overpay just to boo a guy on the bench. Plus, i don't hate Simmons as much as some of these nutty fans do.
But lol @ people acting like this was the NBA Finals game 7 or something. Embarrassing loss, but c'mon now the Sixers haven't lost a game with Harden until this point, they're now 5-1 with Harden in the lineup. Did we expect them to go undefeated the rest of the season? Nets came in highly motivated and fighting for their playoff lives.

He also downplayed Jayson Tatums monster scoring game against the Nets, TWICE, because of their apparent inability to defend anyone, but hasn’t said shit about his teams star players absolutely crumbling on the offensive end.
Scoring on the Nets isn't a big feat. They have an awful defense, one of the worst in the NBA.
76ers offense was garbage last night, well their defense was too. It's not like the Nets played good defense, though they were really engaged (and clearly motivated), and the Sixers looked like they didn't care and missed countless open shots with little movement. In a 7 game series against Brooklyn Embiid would be averaging 30+ a game no problem and the series would be a dog fight. Let's stop overreacting.
