Usually, no. Quite the opposite, as he draws so much attention and gets shooters open. Things have been strange lately though.

Most of the rotation has missed like half the season so far at different times, mostly due to Covid. So i'll chalk some struggles up to that but hopefully it changes soon.

So, Tyrese Maxey, a 21-year-old second-year player that’s been forced to fill in for an All-Star, nails a career-high five threes on his way to 25 points and hits the dagger jumper against the best team in the East. Oh yeah, he had ZERO turnovers and had to guard James Harden.

The other night after shooting 2-for-11, Embiid jokingly told Maxey that he was trash. This was how he responded. The last time Embiid basically called Simmons trash he responded by retiring rofl.

Had to wait nearly a month to bump his thread because of how trash Maxey had been playing lmaoooo

He dropped 27 points 4 games ago, and 23 points the game before that. All just within the past 2 weeks.

Averaging 17/5/3 this season with a ridiculously low 0.7 turnovers per game. On 47/38/87 efficiency.

14 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 turnovers. After the game Embiid jokingly thanked him for "finally being a point guard"
