imagine defending ben simmons for 4 pages when hes about to get traded

lmao

So i can't talk about a player on another team?

The fuck does him being traded have to do with his skill set and what he can and can't do? Just talking about the player here, not the team he's on.

Jrue is on another team and he's one of my favorite players in the league to this day. I hope he gets a ring lol. I'll never have that same feeling with Simmons, because he's a dick head off the court, but still.

Already expressed my real opinion on him.

He's an asshole off the court, his personality is shit, he thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread and needs to be put in check and get humbled. His lack of emotion during games has always been an issue, he doesn't look engaged sometimes and is way too passive.

Doesn't shoot jump shots, etc. You know I can live with that? It's his lack of killer instinct and aggressiveness in big moments that really did it for me in the second round. Not even looking to score at all in the 4th quarter of multiple games in a row and letting his suddenly garbage FT shooting in the playoffs get to his head and prevent him from being aggressive. Those are things i can't accept, not when you're 6'10'' and a freak athlete with that kind of size and speed you can't be a bitch like that.

Plenty of bad, plenty of good. One way or another he'll be traded, i just don't know if it'll be in the off-season or during the regular season.

Dude cares more about playing COD than practicing to improve his game, and that is why he isn’t worth an elite A level All-Star. Especially since the league is aware of the fact that Morey/Rivers/Embiid are on the clock to ship him out or face serious chemistry issues

I’m sure teams are scrambling to acquire a pg who’s afraid to shoot the ball

This is why I'm surprised he's on the market. You can't get much out of him at this point. Acquire another pg, work with ben, and then trade him.

Teams will scramble to acquire a 24 year old who is already a 3x All-Star, All-NBA, and 2x All-Defensive 1st team selection in his first 4 years.

Sure, he had a horrible 7 game series in the second round against Atlanta, but the capability to be a top tier player is there and he's still years away from even beginning his prime years. Any team will jump on that opportunity, especially when they want to push the narrative that his value is lower than it was.

Morey isn't going to give up Simmons for anything short of an impact All-Star caliber player as they've said. This isn't a trade him just to trade him scenario, they'll have no issue going into next season with him and then just trade him mid-season when his value is high and he's on his 4th All-Star team in 5 years.

Simmons is a new breed of star.

We call them 0&D

0 offense and only defense

Teams don’t want 3&D anymore. They want 0&D

Trolling.

Draymond "7 PPG and 44% FG" Green is hot garbage as a scorer. Good passer, good defender.

Simmons is not only a better offensive player, but he's a better defensively player too, clearly.

Green is pretty much a shorter, fatter, less athletic and less skilled version of Simmons. Plus Green is like 7 years older lol

Green is also passionate about winning, a vocal leader, can knock down an open 3, isn't scared of going to the line in clutch situations, puts his team into position defensively

Can't find those intangibles on 2k my dude
