Good to know that eerock’s whim is now the precedent by which a bet is or isn’t valid. Will be sure to redirect all betting disputes your way going forward

As evidenced in the s/a thread, being a dick gets you nowhere fast.

It looks bad on this community when one of our betting meds/trusted gets locked, regardless if it was warranted or not.

However it also looks bad when one of our major rules is superceded by the s/a team. Something will have to change. We can't have betting rules that can't be enforced or lead to loopholes.

Our rules are clear.
Eerock's ruling is also clear.
We cannot enforce some of our current rules.
So something will have to change.

Eeriock is missing the point. Yes Izzo’s intent was there to take the bet with the better odds . But the sports forum in general has been burned so many times in the past on what was intent and what wasn’t intent. That’s why we’ve put in a very easy and simple step to cover all that in having both parties physically type out that it’s confirmed or “cd” ( this involves when a betting line/odds are agreed upon, not merely asked for )

Well this went far and beyond where i thought it was heading last night.

This whole situation is literally fucking retarded.

There was no bet based on our rules, and eerock flexing his e-penis to over compensate for the miniscule micro sized one he has irl is just digusting.
I've just about had it with the mods acting like nazi's on this site.

Maybe its time we take our betting endeavours to another forum.

/e and dont be afraid to hand over the suspension, it'll just prove my point even further.
