Wall's game will age better than Westbrook's.
Being a Wizards fan is all about enjoying the regular season anyway. Seeing Westbrook's fire and energy will make the regular season more watchable.
Kicking the can down the road. At least we will probably see them make the playoffs and maybe even win a series but they aren't going to beat any elite teams in a series. They need to have a complete rebuild. This trade basically made them a treadmill team for another 5 years with no chance of improving. They should have cleaned house and tanked for a few years.
I love Beal but at this point I don't see them getting a team around him. He could be the best player on a contender if he had a stacked team of solid players around him. More realistically he'd be a great 2nd option with a bona-fide superstar. Westbrook is a great player still but he isn't a top 5 player. Not even close.
