like a somple example is when you get pulled over by the cops you dont worry about keeping your hands in your pockets. Well some black mans need to be taught at a young age to NEVER put your hands in your pockets when facing a police officer, because they will just kill you.

Did you grow up with that rule in the back of your mind at all times? Worried that sticking your hands in your pocket in the presence of a police officer will get you unquestionably shot and killed, or beaten because officer felt threatened when you put your hands in your pockets? No. That is privilege.

So I don't ever have to worry about taht rule, but people of other races do because of the indoctrinated racism that privileged individuals do not experience.

Another example of privilege, although this can be argued is the resultant of the stigma and prejudice, is when as a White man I apply for most jobs, When some people go for a job, they are judged based on their race, many employers want their enigmatic definition of a 'proper employee' and some simply believe that based on ones skin colour that is a direct correlation as to whether or not they will be able to sufficiently fulfill the description.

It could be a very minor retort, seeing a name that looks foreign, or a womans name, instantly lowers your chances of being hired, again this is indoctrinated in our psychological make up of what is the ideal employee, characterized by generations of television and print media showing us what 'ideal' is. Now I will say that since this is a psychological principle that it does not apply to everyone, as some are able to circumvent the psychological tendencies typically shown in their demographic.

Think about it, Imagine you are a Landscaper, likely if you see a female name on the resume, you won't be thinking the same reasons to hire her. Maybe you are like 'Oh a girl, she won't be able to hang with the guys, we talk rude n shit' or 'Oh, that guy is Indian, I think Indian immigrants are lazy and can't understand english how could I teach this guy how to cut grass properly if he wont be able to understand me' or 'Oh this guy has a Black name, How would customers respond for them considering a black man on their property all day without them being home'... These are micro thoughts that some people have, or may have, when considering hiring people. That is privilege and indoctrinated racism. I am not even saying its only Whites that think like this, no, This is our culture in North America. Chinese business owner wants white pretty girl to be taking orders for chinese food, same exact indoctrinated prejudice, and it isn't just white people pushing it. It is simply what our culture expects.

Very funny you bring this up. In the US which you probably have no idea what is really going on since you are Canadian and only watch through our shit country dividing news. It is actually very easy to get a job as a minority, especially black. Being white you get put down the totem pole automatically and will not be picked over a minority. And to top if off minorities also get free college if they choose to complete high school. (Which a ton of them dont). It needs to be broken down at a cultural level so minorities(actually just African americans) stop blaming everyone else for their laziness

A Third example would be the police force in some states. Now Canada is no better in some regards, like we fucked our natives, for like, no reason, and we continue to fuck the shit out of them daily )metaphorically) with laws such as reserves are not provided access to clean water and energy, cuz fuck them. Even though it is a law.

But In the States specifically, there is an example I can point to of an elderly Black Woman. She got a fine one day, couldnt pay off the fine. If she was white, then Courts would have just capped the payment and sent to collectors. Done and Done. But she was black, so Courts and police kept increasing the fines, then eventually adding charges which caused her to go to prison. Then in prison, she lost welfare, so 0 income. OUt of prison, she still owes them the money, and the interest is piling up, and now she has no income. So she dies. Then the Police/courts give the bill to her black children, because well, someones gotta pay it.
Again if she were white then ticket woulda been capped at 30 bucks and no increases or interest leading to lack of payments and more charges.

This is documented shit that some people gotta deal with
