I mean, Green is the 4th best player on his own team lol

He's more valuable than that on his team because of what they need and what he provides, but if you were to pick them in order of who you would start a team with it would be Green going #4 behind KD, Curry, and Thompson.

Draymond Green is the Rajon Rondo of the Warriors, along for the ride and would NEVER be able to escalate a team on his own or even as the #2 featured player

If I had to choose between Green and Klay for the Bucks I would choose Klay in a heartbeat... and we already have Middleton/Bledsoe/Brogdon with a major weakness at C

That said, any good GM would pick Green before Thompson. He is just a far better player.

id prob take dray over klay

but their overall impact on games so far appears pretty comparable, its like 3a and 3b the way i look at GS' top 4

shooters are just a dime a dozen these days and a premier glue guy can hold most team together without streaky shooting

On the Warriors, Draymond Green is more vital to the GSW, considering they also have Durant who can take Thompson's touches and shots. But.... Klay Thompson next to Curry is the Ray Allen of our generation. = /

Klay > Green

Thompson is as good as any shooter in this league. I mean shit, the Warriors might just have the 3 best shooters in the league on their own god damn team, but still.

A 2-guard that can defend 1-3 VERY well, and has the ability to easily drop 30+ on any given night consistently at efficiently from anywhere on the floor.



Playing alongside Curry (and now Durant) has certainly limited Thompsons usage, but I've always said if this guy was even more of a focal point of the offense he would tear it up. Look at what he's doing to the Spurs (who have the 4th best defense in the league this season) with Curry out....anal rape with no regard for human life.

Yeah I don't get that either... Draymond Green is the engine and heart of soul of the GSW team, but doesn't make him better than Klay, Durant, or Curry..

In fact if they lost Draymond Green, and replaced him with Jordan Bell, (who basically is gonna be his predecessor in a few years,) would they really be that much worse?

klay certainly is seemingly a 'greatest shooter of all time'

but he's also being argued as the 3rd or 4th best player on his team.... you could say he's really thriving in the system.....
