Where can I find kimtown? I wanted to congratulate him on the Boston Celtics championship.
Also the Houston Rockets are a future dynasty. I hope they draft Reed Sheppard 3rd overall. <3

They'll be good. But don't forget Alperen Sengun had his best game as a pro vs. Wemby and the Spurs. 45 points, 16 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists. People tend to forget that Sengun is only a year older (1.5 to be exact) than Wemby. He's still incredibly young and has earned the nickname "Baby Jokic" for a reason. Also Steven Adams is a beast with size and finally healthy again. An elite rebounder the Rockets have added into the mix as a backup center.

All the Rockets need is shooting and they'll be dangerous. Already a 41-win team even without good shooting and several key injuries this past season. The Rockets future is bright anyway. Unlike, say, the Lakers. I wish JJ Redick the best though. Feel like the Lakers should've hired Sam Cassell. Fresh off winning a 4th NBA championship and 1st as an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics.

How have you been? NBA Draft is tomorrow night. Rockets have the 3rd pick thanks to the Nets and the James Harden trade. Will probably have another top 3 unprotected pick from the Nets in 2026 as well. Feels like house money to me. Already a 41-win team and competitive enough. Just need to take the next step and become a playoff team. Hopefully it's Reed Sheppard. He's an elite shooter that can hit threes and mid-range J's at a high rate. He was actually a better shooter at Kentucky than Stephen Curry was at Davidson going into his draft.

Not to say that he'll be Curry in the NBA, not even close (similar size and his elite shooting just feels game changing is all), but I don't see why he can't shoot over 40% threes in the NBA. Maybe he can even hit 45% threes like Steph did for three seasons during his Hall of Fame career. If you can shoot you can shoot. Basketball has never alienated elite shooters. No matter what year or what rules. Quality shooting will always show up in basketball. That is something you can't sugarcoat or disguise. If you can shoot you can shoot.

Maybe the Boston Celtics will repeat as NBA champions next year. I like what they have. No reason to think that they'll be slowing down anytime soon.

BREAKING: The Brooklyn Nets have agreed in principle on a trade to send F Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-rounder, sources tell ESPN.

The Brooklyn Nets made a horrible trade. They're going to be so bad the next two years. Yess!!

OMG. Nets are going to be so bad! And the Houston Rockets have the opportunity to swap picks with them in 2025 and own their 2026 unprotected first-round pick. Oh boy! The Rockets are going to build a dynasty if things go as planned. Just draft an elite shooter in Reed Sheppard with the 3rd pick tomorrow night. Start there first and foremost.

EDIT: Damn. Nets cleaned up on draft picks though. It's a good trade for the Nets. But it's an even better trade for the Houston Rockets!
Unless the Nets can swiftly trade all of that new found draft capital and parlay them in trades for some superstars. I sure doubt they can.

It's a good trade for the Nets because they loaded up on draft capital. For a player they weren't that good with anyway.
But it could be a great trade for the Rockets if the Nets' unprotected first-round pick in 2026 is #1 overall or top 3 again.

Also the Rockets gave up the ability to swap 2025 first-round picks with the Nets in this trade... Bummer. No Cooper Flagg. LOL

Most importantly in the deal, per sources: Houston relinquishes the right to swap a Houston/OKC first-round pick for Brooklyn's 2025 first-round pick. The Nets control their own pick as they go into a full rebuild -- especially important in talented 2025 draft. x.com/wojespn/status…

But we still have the Brooklyn Nets unprotected first-round pick in 2026. People said the 2024 pick wouldn't be good. It turned into the 3rd overall pick for tomorrow night.
