If the Celtics trade Jaylen for Kawhi, Danny better know Kawhi is going to sign for longer than a 1 year rental. Jaylen's improvement from year 1 to year 2 plus his work ethic shows me that he is someone who is going to get better every year. If we are getting Kawhi, we will also be giving up next year picks which POSSIBLY could be Bol Bol. I would prefer the Celtics just stick with the team they have and see what happens with a healthy squad. It seems we will be losing Smart which will hurt but I think a year 2 Tatum, a year 3 Brown will be able to make up for that loss in some ways. If we are to trade anybody right now it would be Rozier (before he turns into another Aaron Hernandez). His trade value will never be higher than it is right now. If we have to give up Morris as well, that's fine.
