Celtics gonna spank the Sixers again, we're used to it, this team is just a big disappointment, fuk em all but at least spit some facts if you wanna shit on them.

Simmons not playing is a HUGE factor in this series especially, it's not even a question at this point everyone can see the issue. He's the absolute ideal defender to put on Tatum and has put the clamps on him this season.

Tatum shot just 31.3% (5-for-16) when defended by Simmons in Boston's four games against Philly this season. In those four games this season (all of which Simmons played) Tatum shot just 33% against Philly overall (36%, 27.8%, 30.8%, and 36.8%).


Not to mention Glen Robinson III hasn't been available this series either, and he's another big athletic 3&D wing that can play physical defense in our rotation and space the floor.


So are we surprised Tatum is having his way? The Sixers really don't have other wing defenders outside of Thybulle who is a rookie (and not as big as Simmons or GRIII against the big/athletic wings).

Sixers were up by 6 after the first quarter in game 2

From there, the wheels fell off and Boston went on a 69-19 run from early in the second quarter until the middle of the third quarter. Jesus fuck.


Sixers keep starting good in the first, and then falling apart. I won't get my hopes up until the game is fucking over.
