i want a 7 footer for once

I haven't weighed in on him because I didn't watch nor do I know much about him

But exactly this
We need to draft rim protection

7 footers that can actually play in Steven's system is RARE and HARD to find. You guys cry and moan when anyone like JB or JT is included in any trade proposals, but you tend to ignore players like Gobert, or Bamba may be special defenders, but their virtually worthless in Steven's system..

But to get a competent 7 footer that can space the floor, pass, run in transition, defend, and just fit in Steven's system is very tough to find without overpaying.

I don't think anyone is going to take any of those offers dude... We're talking about transcendental talents like Ayton or Bagley/Doncic... You guys really need to stop homering and assuming teams will bend over...

I know, but your trade offers are not going to bring any of those talents in.

That being said, Ayton's motor is something I would be worried about. Ainge has scouted Bamba twice at college, so maybe he feels he could be a good piece moving forward.

Rozier + lots of picks lol

But i'm not sure what the rules are with trading draft picks
Teams cannot trade their own 1st pick in consecutive seasons right? Picks from other teams can be packaged?

I'd be ok offering Kings, Celtics, Grizz, Clippers and Rozier if it would land us Ayton
We could even sign and trade smart if a team wants him and take a contract in return

Wouldn't give all that for the others, but if Jackson is available at 5-6, who knows if we can offer something around that

Correct.

And you would literally be giving up all of our entire treasure trove of assets to bring in a player who I think won't be as dominant as we think.

I'm okay with keeping Horford at the 5, and swing forwards/wings at the 3 and 4.

i was thinking of trying to get in the 5-7 range of picks

Ainge has traded our draft picks twice

BK 1st to acquire a star in Kyrie
Acquired Tatum + 1st in return

Ainge and Brad value 1st rounders very highly
Unless we are getting a sure thing(Kyrie) or trade rape(Free 1st)
Safe to assume we are drafting 2019 lol
