dude came up absolutely clutch in key games vs the heat and bucks.

without him one of those teams wouldve knocked the celties out.

Against the Heat he averaged 9.8 points on 44% from the field. He scored 5 or fewer points in half the games in that series.

He came up big in some games in the playoffs, but let's not act like he is more than what he is.

You’re focusing too much on scoring - something River has never been known as

Time to put down the box score, maybe watch a game or 2 and realise there’s more to the game than just putting the ball in the basket. Horford can do it all.

Tobias was incredible defensively in the playoffs.

I've raved about how good his playoff run was, not because of his scoring at 17 PPG (he averaged 22 ppg in last years playoffs), but because of his defense this year.

So plz don't say I don't understand both sides of the ball.

Offensive averages arent everything, but if you insist on using them... he put up 30 points in game 4 vs the bucks to tie the series up (they only won by 8) and 16 points in game 4 to go up on the heat 3-1.
He was stout on defense basically every game, and provided offense when it was needed. He is incredibly valuable to the celties.

That's a reach, like everything else you've said.

I dont disagree with any of this. Horford was very good in the playoffs for Boston. Doubt he will be that good again, especially at his age. It's not like he has a history of being good in recent years.

System player it seems. Nothing to be ashamed of, but role players who aren't very good sometimes shine in certain systems. That's okay though, Boston does a good job of helping him overachieve and covers his major flaws.

It took 36 year old Al Horford having a career game against Milwaukee to help the Celtics advance against a team without their #2 and closer lol!!

Grizzlies offer for KD

Dillon Brooks expiring contract, Ziaire Williams, Brandon Clarke and whatever 1st rd late picks/swaps........an offer ANY team can match. Why the fuck they even inquire? Desmond Bane AND JJJ not available?

They won't say it to keep the price high, but the Celtics are out on KD, so whatever....but everything we read about them always said "has to start with Jaylen Brown"

Seeing offers like this is hilarious
