Did you see Brook Lopez cleared his Instagram page? Just waiting to see what new team he signs with now.

Brooklyn Nets have now lost Joe Harris, Seth Curry, Yuta Watanabe and two future second rounders today, with nothing in return. They keep Cam Johnson (which they were going to do anyway). Maybe they add someone with the NT-MLE. But they're not getting any better as a team.

Feels like icing on the cake. The fact the Houston Rockets own the Brooklyn Nets' unprotected first-round picks in 2024 and 2026. If we're really lucky one of those picks is going to be top three and potentially first overall. You never know with the NBA Lottery. As long as the Nets miss the playoffs those picks always have a chance to be good. That would be something to cap off the James Harden trade.

EDIT - The Rockets also have the option to swap first-round picks with the Nets in 2025 and 2027. LOL. The James Harden trade keeps on giving. If the Rockets play their cards right they can build an NBA Title contender at some point.

No major losses for the Nets. I mean Curry is the biggest loss I guess.

As long as the Nets keep guys like Claxton, Bridges, and Cam Johnson they'll be alright. Competitive enough I should say to avoid being a bad team.

Yeah but it's a far cry from being deemed championship contenders with a big three of KD, Harden and Kyrie.
You have to admit that at least now they're in a position to fall apart and miss the playoffs. Being a lottery team.
