Or will other teams not want Smart that badly because of his poor shooting.

Smart could end up taking the MLE money, or somewhere less on a one year deal like Noel, but I don't think he will. I think Smart will eventually get extra money through endorsements and deals from Adidas, while being a huge fan favorite at the Boston.

Players like him generally don't get paid that much, but their invaluable. I have always said Smart reminds me of a Draymond Green in a guard version. You don't throw away players like him, because they simply do not grow on trees anymore. Its hard to find a blue collar player like Smart that can absolutely suck so much at shooting, but still be adept offensively through making screens/picks, ball movement, and high passing IQ.

I read one local sports writer thinks Smart could get up to $20 mil, saying something like "Evan Turner $".

For the same $ it's a tough choice but if rozier's cheaper, i'm team scary terry.
