Trade Kyrie for AD

Rozier shooting 60% from 3 at home in the playoffs so far.

The only team that won without a top 30 all-time player in the last 40 or so years was the 2004 Pistons. Then before that you probably had the Blazers, who had Walton, who in reality had a top 20 peak of all-time. My question is, who among these players is top 30 all-time? Kyrie/Horford/Hayward/Tatum/Brown/Rozier. Because if none of them are, the Celtics are looking at an uphill battle if their goal is a title.

I could see 1 of 3 ways the Celtics get there. 1) Kyrie has another gear we haven't yet seen, or his assists move up from 5 to 8-9. 2) Tatum in about 2/3 years. 3) Trade

Scary terry

He's not a very good defender. He's a plus iso defender, but a fringe average to average team defender. He does a good job staying in front of his man, but he does seem to get lost more than he should off the ball. I dont think his BBIQ defensively has caught up to his physical abilities yet.

A good comp would be Leandro Barbosa. Energy and scoring. Boston will try to fleece some team expecting similar production out of Rozier for an asset, then his stats will plummet and it will be clear he was a product of Stevens.

He’s a better scorer than barbosa it would appear but yeah I was jesting


We could have a pistons like roster, skill wise, with our current team (healthy)

Barbosa did average about 15ppg for 4 full seasons on about 28 MPG. Just using him as a comparison since they both don't have a passing instinct which can stall an offense. He just strikes me as a guy the Pistons would get raped in a trade for and be sick of in a years time
