Their problem isn't energy, bro. With a guy like Parker Drew and Pau have completely switch and attack him on defense and not allow any room to penetrate. Every time the switch man plays safety instead of committing to the ball. That's a fine way to guard the Pick&Roll against most PG's but Parker's got too many weapons and you got to force someone else to beat you.
