Anyways....frustrating start to the game yesterday, pretty much came out with the softest defense i've seen them play all season. Doc waiting until halftime to make adjustments was just ridiculous, Danny Green was getting cooked by Trae Young and they weren't doubling/trapping until the third quarter. Green is a solid defender at times, but not against someone small and super quick like Young because he lacks that lateral quickness and runs like he's swimming lmao. Even so, when Green was on him at times in the second half they at least doubled and trapped off the screen and forced the ball out of Young's hands which worked well. At the end of the day we need Simmons or Thybulle to be the primary guy on Young at as often as possible.

I'm not too worried at all about this series, the Sixers clearly figured things out in the third quarter and especially in the 4th quarter. They won the second half 70-54 and the Hawks clearly couldn't handle the press at the end which the Sixers excel at because of guys like Simmons and Thybulle. The Hawks also won't hit TWENTY threes again, that was just not sustainable and they were left wide open especially in the corners just way too often.

The ending of that game 1 was fucking wild though, what started out as a horrible game turned into a dramatic finish. Trae Young is a problem, but he won't have a field day like that again in game 2 you can bet on that.
