our defense was fine, it was the offense that was the problem

Bucks defense too strong

Unlike the Nets, they actually good a bunch of good defenders.

This win was so fucking crucial. I don't even want to talk about the Ejection, the Ejection actually just sparked a fire in us in the third that we needed.

JORDAN FUCKING POOLE is going to be his fucking NBA soon. GP2 was probably the most essential player today with his defense on Ja, Curry's clutch BLOCK on Ja at the end is gonna give him confidence for the rest of the series. Love it..

I want this Desmond Bane every game, he had a horrible game & I predicted it that if we can make Desmond Bane play so much fucking defense all game long that he is too exhausted to help Ja on the offensive end like he is use to, we will win 100% of the time..

I didn't fucking think Jarren Jackson Jr would be shooting the fucking lights out like fucking Curry tho. Jesus.. What a game.

Lol Celtics

That defensive strategy doesn't work so well against Giannis. Too big, strong and physical but most importantly too good of a passer.

Most importantly Jrue Holigod.

Difference between Bucks and Nets though is....one team actually plays defense 😏

Defense isn't a concern whatsoever after game 1 tbh. Giannis will be Giannis but the Celtics made it tough for him and that's all you can ask.

The Celtics piss poor offense led to so many free buckets for the Bucks. Celtics were -20 in points off turnovers lol.....27-6. Impossible to win. And even with the Bucks getting tons of free transition offense, the defensive numbers were absolutely fine.

They simply cannot play offense like that again and I honestly don't expect anything close to that performance no matter what level of defense the Bucks bring. If it does, either we're total frauds or the Bucks are actually the greatest defensive team ever.

It should be a long series, and I'm looking forward to it

I don't know my man, I had Celtics as the third best team in the playoffs and they looked fucking humbled last night and don't see how they are going to change it...

Granted I only watched about half the game as it's not my raptors, but what I caught was Milwaukee putting the fucking clamps on

Bucks were disrespected big time, there's no way they should have been as heavy underdogs going into that series as they were. Celtics were the hot team finishing the season strong and then sweeping a Nets team that doesn't play any defense.

I'd expect Boston to adjust and ultimately win game 2. But they're in trouble losing game 1 on their home court that's for sure...

I think what this shows is Middleton isn't as critical to their success as he was made out to be.

I had him as a fringe all star --- but he's being exposed as a system player

Ehhhh, he was extremely important during their championship run....primarily in the finals when he was their closer. Clutch basket after clutch basket, he was the one creating buckets and hitting key shots.

They have a pretty deep team and guys off the bench that aren't afraid of the moment, so it's not quite as hard to try to replace him this season. There will be times during this series when they'll miss him though that is for sure.
