Alright boys, how should I play my Bucks series bet?

I dropped $1k on them at +270 when they were down 0-1 in the series. I planned to wait until they dropped to 0-2 and get them at like +350 but i jumped the gun, stupid move. Anyways, the intention was to get the value and then hedge once it's to game 7 for a guaranteed profit. This figuring each team would hold home court advantage through the series, which is how it's happening.

I don't trust the Bucks to win it all in game 7 on the road, so i'm definitely trying to hedge and guarantee winnings. I'm thinking of dropping $1K on the Suns to win the series at exactly 4-3 at +190 odds. This would mean if the Bucks win the series i'd profit +$1,700 or if the Suns win (in 7) i'd profit +$900. That would obviously have me rooting for the Bucks in game 7, but i'd come out on top either way. The only scenario I lose and win nothing is if the Suns win the next two games.

I'm trying to figure out my hedge as well. GL dawg

Eric Bledsoe
27%/8% for games 1, 2 and 4

Watching a team in the NBA finals have to play through Middleton is fucking brutal

got dayum

He did look awful shooting the rock, looks like he lost his confidence.

Amazing defensively though.

Both really Dumb.

Haters Gun Hate when Holiday wins the Finals in 7 and then proceeds to win the Olympic Gold Medal, while Tatum is the weak link on the US roster since there's no Boston Refs to cradle him like the small infant baby that he is.

Sean should make another thread saying that Embiid is better then ShaQ

Never made a thread saying Embiid was better than Shaq? I said he's more versatile and a better fit for todays game.

That is the furthest thing from the Truth. Shaq would man handle these soft centers in todays league.

Did you only watch Shaq the last 5 years he played? Kinda sounds like it.

Booker gets backed down by Holiday and flails his head back

Crowder pretends to get poked in the eye multiple times, jerking his head around, flopping like a fish the whole game. Pat C gets his elbow near his head and Crowder acts like he just got hit by a linebacker

Nobody likes watching this flopping shit. Penalize these players for abusing their acting skills

Shaq got absolutely torched defending the pick & roll in his days, even back then when the game was nowhere near as fast and the floor was smaller due to a lack of spacing. He was a liability then, and would get targeted often as a defensive liability especially outside of the paint. Embiid has insanely good footwork for a man of his size (thanks to soccer growing up) and can defend well on the perimeter against smaller guards when needed.

Now? No chance for Shaq, that same Shaq at any point in his career back then wouldn't stand a chance defending in todays game. He was absolutely useless outside of the paint, and couldn't defend the pick & roll to save his life (and the P&R and 100x harder to defend in todays game). In todays game you have to switch, too many guys can shoot and they can shoot from way too far out. Shaq never switched, he'd just stand in the paint all game because that's all he could do. He would never be able to defend in todays game, period.

Offensively sure, he'd be a monster in the paint and get his nobody can deny that, but then again todays game wouldn't allow him to just drop his shoulder and plow over guys in the same manner like he did in his prime. He also couldn't just stand in the paint all game or around the block, that wouldn't work in the modern space and pace game for a go-to guy. At the very least he'd need to be able to face up and handle the rock to create for himself a bit.

Embiid is in a different class as a post-up player in todays game. Nobody else in the league now posts up nearly as much as him, and nobody comes even remotely close to being as efficient. He posts up more than most entire teams in the league rofl. Yet we still see Embiid working around the perimeter, shooting 3-4 threes per game (at a respectable league average 38%), and facing up to take guys off the dribble from the outside. Embiid also has one of the best and most unguardable mid-range jumpers in the league, especially that turnaround fade jumper which is his bread and butter. Defensively? Embiid switches onto guards all the time, he has incredible footwork for a 7 footer at his size (ty soccer), and he's probably the second best rim protector in the league after Gobert (his rim defense % is actually on par with Gobert).

[x] More versatile

Check and check.

Embiid is softer than tissue and cries way too much to even be in the same conversation of Shaq.

Here is a video of defensive stops Embiid only dreams about.
